Privacy
Last updated October 7, 2026. TermReceipt is owned and operated by Aldenworth Consulting LLC. We use the minimum data needed to create and verify evidence records.
What we store
Merchant account details; the transaction records merchants create (offer, price, terms, customer name and email); the customer's acknowledgements and signature; and, for each step of a record, the time, IP address and device, which are part of the evidence.
What we do not store
Card numbers. Payments are handled by the payment processor, and card details stay with them. One-time email codes are stored only as one-way hashes and are not included in exports.
Customer links
A customer receives a link to their own record only. We keep a one-way fingerprint of that link rather than the link itself. Public verification pages show whether a record is intact and never show the customer's email, IP address or device.
We send transactional email only: one-time codes, receipts and records. We do not sell or rent personal information.
Retention and requests
Retention, deletion and access requests are handled through the merchant account owner and our support channel. Deleting evidence may affect a merchant's ability to verify a historical record.
